Travel-Spy is my blog about my hobby. I look at security cameras around the world. I am not a hacker. I simply use search engines and some search secrets too locate surveillance cameras and am able to view them.
I use to work at a store that had a surveillance camera. The owner was able to sit on his butt at home and watch our every movement if he chose too. I think he was just looking at my female co-workers but I can not prove that. ;)
The purpose of my blog is too share some of my visits. Since I can not afford to travel I choose to use surveillance cameras to tour the world.
I have seen China, Japan, and multiple other countries.
I have seen a shoplifter in a grocery store in Japan. I visited the inside of coffee shops, welding shops, car dealers, grocery stores, homes, colleges, town squares, and countless other places.
What I will strive to provide on this blog is an informing and at toimes amusing look at the world thru the eyes of a surveillance camera.
I may provide the link to view it yourself depending on the sensitivity of the site. I will post screenshots of some of the cool and interesting things I see. The links to the surveillance cameras may not be permanent. If the surveillance camera is of a public place such as a park I do not worry about it but when I run into a surveillance camera that could have sensitive or damaging information for the owner I will attempt to contact the owner too pass on my information so he or she may be made aware of the situation.
You may have a surveillance camera that is accesible from your computer. If you do you should also be made aware that it could be available to the general public from a simple query on a search engine .
Most of the survillance cameras are operable. This means that I can zoom in or out, pan the camera around in either direction, brighten or lighten the video and also I am able to adjust the focus.
If I post a link to a surveillance camera and you have more than one user trying to operate the surveillance camera then it will not function properly. The reason for this is say...Joe is trying to pan the camera left, and Bob is online trying to pan the camera too the right and Mary is trying to zoom in. The video image simply jumps around too all of these functions and renders actually viewing the video to be fruitless.
The reason for this is most of the cameras are "private" which means that only the owner should have access in theory.
For this reason I will not always post a link to a surveillance camera. I will tend to only post surveillance cameras of public areas. If a bank manager needs to be keeping an eye on the bank vault from home I don't want a reader of this blog to render his ability to keep his bank secure nulled.
Sit back and relax...I will start posting regulary some of my surveillance cam travels.
